Pho Avina is a family owned and operated Vietnamese restaurant. In 1990, our family started Avina's Vietnamese Cuisine on the corner of 43rd Ave & Bell Rd. In 2005, my mother sold her store and I took over Pho Phat in 2007. We specialize in Southern Vietnamese cooking. Pepe’s Restaurants have continuously served the Southland with fine quality Mexican food. Pepe’s was founded in 1962 by three brothers, Joe, Tony and Fred. Unable to find steady business at first, the location was changed several times before finally settling in Alhambra in 1962, where the name was changed permanently to “Pepe’s.” During these early years, the brothers often relied on the help of family members to keep the business growing. In 1962, their nephew “Pepe” was sent to fight in Vietnam. This is when Tony, out of love for his nephew, renamed the restaurant after him, Pepe's.
In the following years, the restaurant had become a great success. However, in 1973 Tony passed away leaving Joe and Fred to run the business solely. In 1976, the youngest of the three brothers, Fred, joined in helping to expand Pepe’s Restaurants with the opening of the Downey location. Since then, Pepe’s has continued to grow, opening locations in both Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley and Orange Counties.
The restaurants have continuously served authentic, high quality Mexican food, keeping their secret recipes inside the family. This has made Pepe’s the well-known establishment it is today

From September of 1989 until June 1999, my wife and I owned and operated "Town Line Deli and Pizzeria" on Cape Cod Massachusetts.
Back in January 1999, we vacationed in Arizona at my brother's house in Arrowhead. Anthony and Tina told us the area was starving for a "family" owned Pizzeria where families can enjoy the casual atmosphere and great back east style Italian food at a good price. On the airplane ride back to frigid, snowy, icy, Cape Cod, Judy and I decided to put our pizzeria up for sale and move ourselves and our son Robert to the Valley of the Sun.
Our hopes are to establish a casual family atmosphere at an affordable price. We look forward to providing you with the finest, freshest ingredients available and we will do our best to ensure your visit is one to remember.
