Still obsessed with this place! The coffee is seriously the best coffee I've ever had!! The salted Carmel cold brew and latte are easily my favorite drink ever. Seriously...way better than Starbucks and any other coffee shop! I also got banana bread which was delicious and moist! Also, everyone is always super sweet and helpful. I'll be back as always!
I've been saying I was going to stop in for the longest time and I'm so glad I finally did! Everyone working here is incredibly kind and you can absolutely tell they really do love their job.
The first time I stopped by, I was in a rush so I went safe and picked a piece of the veggie quiche. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the egg was fluffy!
Since coming in the first time, I've been in 3/4 more times to try other things. The cinnamon roll with caramel and pecans is definitely one of my favs. Honestly, I might even think it tastes better than Cinnabon! The eggnog macaron was another one of my favorites. I would without a doubt recommend stopping by for some pastries or coffee!
This 5-star rating is based on the wonderful customer service received from both Brittanie on the phone and Zach once we arrived in the shop. I needed a decadent treat as an appreciation gift for the team who helped make our recent golf event such a huge success, and it was kind of last minute.
I called, told Brittanie what I needed and she welcomed my order, saying they could absolutely accommodate, even with short notice. She said they currently had 6 seasonal cupcake flavors in stock and asked if I wanted her to describe each of the cupcakes in detail. As I was a little pressed for time, I said "Let's keep it simple and we'll just do 2 cupcakes in each of the 6 flavors." Within minutes, we had the order completed, credit card transaction processed and receipt texted to me.
At the shop, Zach greeted us and asked how he could help. I said I phoned in an order for a dozen cupcakes and gave him my name. He said he'd be right back with the order. He returned with a beautifully wrapped bright red box tied with an Abbie Cakes ribbon. We oohed and ahhed over the gorgeous decorated treats. Zach asked if I'd like an explanation of the flavors, and I said yes, please.
He then asked me which one I was going to eat first. I laughed, and explained, "Unfortunately, I don't get to eat any of these, they're an appreciation gift for the team who helped us host a wonderful fundraiser." Zach took a genuine interest, asking more questions about the fundraiser event and the organization. I shared my son's story and our mission. He was so kind and caring, asking questions and wanting to know more.
We're lucky to have such a wonderful small business in our backyard, and I look forward to supporting them for years to come. I can't wait to come back and try their specialty coffees and more of their beautiful treats.

Every Baby Shower needs the perfect cake, and with many different styles to choose from, it can get a little crazy; here's how I made the Fondant Topper on many of my cakes using an acrylic base. We start by shaping the fondant to the base before imprinting our letters into the topper. Then, it's all about the paintwork; we can use different styles, including watercolor, to give it that youthful look, and here, I have used a pastel-like blue to welcome a baby boy.
