So excited to come to PHX and get L & L or any semblance of Hawai'ian food. Bummer no get kalbi though.

We got 2 combo. One with chicken and other one sea food that again comes with chicken as the 3rd meat in that. Ordering was cumbersome as well. Staff at the counter was not clear in asking the details and was not very communicative. Somehow my wife ordered.

Food was just okay. Chicken was very juicy and tender and I loved it. However, sea food was not up-to expectation. I would definitely recommend to try chicken here. But be prepared that it is not the best Hawaiian food you should expect. We have been to Hawai last year and we have tasted one of the best food there and that can't be compared to what you get here.

Haven't been to L&L in ages and glad we decided to come back. Fast service and fresh food - ordered chicken katsu and it was made fresh (took ~8 mins) and huge portion! The mac and cheese salad was good too. Not a big fan of the sauce but other than that everything else was
good and solid value for the $

Came here to pick up dinner to go on 8/31/2021 right before closing time. I'm from Hawaii, born and raised so I know a thing or two about authentic Hawaiian food. This is as close as you're gonna get without taking a plane ticket and actually flying to Hawaii for local food.

Here's what I ordered: bbq chicken, chicken katsu, malasadas, spam musubi, sesame ball desert and canned Hawaiian Iced Tea. All the food ordered was yummy and prepared well just like a plate lunch from back home.

If you have any food concerns, than remember that Hawaiian food is typically high sodium and high carbs. Over 70% of the population of Hawaii is either diabetic or pre-diabetic like I once was. That's another story but the food at L & L is very good for Hawaiian standards. Food is made to order from a selection that you see on an overhead display behind the counter. Lots to choose from: seafood, meats, side orders that are traditional island style.

Service was prompt, all staff here was wearing face masks which is expected. Wait time to get my food from point of order was less than 10 minutes, not bad at all. Drove another 10 minutes to go back home and the food tasted like it was just plated from a grill. Hot and delicious. They do have dine in available if you wanted to enjoy you're meal inside. I noticed a self serve soda station there also for those diners that decide to eat in. Hope this helps. Mahalo guys!!!
