The location is decent for the high schoolers and it is near some warehouses. The prices of the food is higher than humbertos and filibertos. I won't be eating here again because it seems like the owner is not and doesn't know anything about Mexican foods.
First time eating food from Federico's restaurants. Ordered via Uber eats. I ordered a carne asada plate and I have to say, I have seen anyone else serve carne asada like this lol it was literally just cut up taco meat. They were pretty chunky and hard. It came with one large flour tortilla that was super cold and also very hard. I couldn't even unwrap it with out breaking apart. Beans, rice, and red salsa were good. Meat was terrible.
I'm the first to admit when I'm wrong. It happens so infrequently it always takes me by surprise, but it *does* happen. It helps keep me humble.
Anyway...I am back in the Valley of the Sun on another business trip and found myself driving right by this place, so I figured I would at least stop in and see where the confusion is. As it turns out, the special on Friday is THREE mini tacos and the rice and beans, which is what I received the last time, so we're all good.
Just to prove there are no hard feelings for proving me wrong, I ordered the same thing again. Tasty food and the service was improved over last time. When I finally get settled in the area, I can see myself coming back for more.
They're horrible with the wait times. This is a fast food chain not a restaurant where it should take 20 minutes or so to get an order. The customer service is horrible and there's better places to eat. DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA BE HERE FOREVER & Then get cold old food.
