Carlos, our waiter is very knowledgeable about the menu and gives mouth watering descriptions of the entrees! We're so grateful that the hostess highly recommended the guacamole. Mixed by Carlos, table side, on a rolling car with about 6 ingredients, including pomegranate, delicious!
Our meals were also outstanding. I had the Carnitas Michoacánas and my companion had the item just below it on the menu, with the word Pibil in it. The Pibil was sweeter, in a BBQ sort of way. The rice was deliciously fluffy and the black beans full of flavor.
We will be back for many more entrees. However, we will not be ordering cocktails. We had the cucumber and the ginger margaritas for $21 each and although both were excellent, there was no alcohol in either drink

My wife and I got take out last night from Barrio Queen. Super convenient location right at 75th x Bell Rd. in Glendale. Tons of ample parking we didn't even need to step foot in the place as they have a few take out parking spots. I cannot comment on the interior space or the table fare service. So like any of these other restaurants in town that do this, you call the number on the sign, they bring out your food. Easy peezy lemon squeezy.

Food was well packed, well cared for and most importantly - it was fresh. They also tossed in a small grocery bag full of tortilla chips and salsa LOL. Chips were still warm and taken right out of the fryer. Highly recommended.

I went with the al pastor tortas. Unfortunately, there's no photo as I was ravenous and just shoveled it down. Sorry fellow Yelp'ers! The toasted bun was buttery and the al pastor was flavorful. They used a black bean spread instead of mayo which I prefer. Very nicely done and extremely tasty - also highly recommended!

Pricing was on par with most any other table fare restaurants in the area so no complaints there *except * my wife got (3) little Carne Asada tacos which were overpriced (IMO) at $5/each. There are way better taco spots in the immediate area with much better pricing so if you're going to BQ - skip the tacos. Just my two cents.

Pretty great place. Love the vibe and how It's decorated inside.

Started with some elote that was fantastic. Paired it with the chips and salsa and made for quite an appetizer. Had the Azteca enchiladas for dinner and they were pretty tasty. The green sauce is super good! The Don margarita is one of the best I've ever had. Very well made. My pop got the carne asada and it was pretty average to be honest, stick to the tacos my mom got. Much better.

We got churros and tres leches for dessert and they were very good but took WAY too long. It had got busy and the kitchen didn't handle it well because we waited a good 15-20 minutes for desserts. Can't take that long for churros, right? Maybe, but either way it sucked sitting around.

Service was excellent, really liked our Harry Potter waiter. Never got his name but you'll know him if you see him.
