What a pleasant surprise! Delicious Mexican Seafood in the West Valley. They are friendly, clean, and fast. We have been a couple of times now and I cannot wait to go back!

The food was good. The chips were a little stale but the service was great! We were able to get in with no wait and noticed a lot of to go customers who had speedy service as well. The next time we are in the area we will definitely try this place again.

I'm so glad I did the food was amazing I ordered a shrimp cocktail and it came with very generous shrimp. My husband ordered a shrimp plate & was very good. The waiter Brandon was awesome. It makes a big difference when u have great service. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

While out and about my husband, daughter and I were trying to find a new place for lunch to try. While yelp's reviews weren't as stellar for this place google had a ton of great things to say. So we headed over to Old Town Surprise to an old shopping center where Las Cazuelas sits in the corner. The outside looks pretty run down and parking lot not too big, but don't let it scare you away. Once inside it's a lot larger than I thought it would be. Parking lot was full as may of the tables once inside. That's a good sign right? There was a couple a head of us waiting to be seated, but we were seated in less than five minutes. Our sever came to say hello and get our drink order. Someone else stopped by to bring out our chips and salsa. Not your Americanized salsa that is chunky etc, but green and red hot sauce. The red had a good kick, but both were delicious. Chips weren't my favorite, and tasted a bit stale, but not inedible. The menu is pretty vast with not so typical items that other Mexican restaurants around here have to offer. There were seafood items as well as your basic tacos, enchiladas and such. It was hard to make a decision, but I went with the Chile Verde, my husband chose the Camarones A La Diabla while my daughter had carne asada fries. Food took a bit to come out, but we were checked on. I ordered a small strawberry margarita while we waited. It was delicious and just the right size. All of our food came out hot. My Chile Verde was spicier than anywhere I'd had it before and so good! It came with three tortillas solving is more than I've gotten before elsewhere. Rice was good, but beans were a bit dry for me. My husband loved how spicy his dish was. My daughter couldn't finish her fries because it was such a huge portion. The steak was cooked well and seasoned perfectly. Fries weren't soggy and not thin, but the crinkle cut style. The guacamole was fresh. We asked for it on the side to also eat with her chips. Location is definitely not frilly and definitely old school decor. On certain days they offer 99 cent margaritas (first 3) and specials of the day. So many people/families coming in that seemed to be regulars. Our experience was great and I can't wait to come back to try the shrimp burrito as well as some other dishes. Don't let some of these reviews fool you. When we visit again I'll update, but today was great for our family.

They lured us in with a .99 cent margarita sign and AFTER they delivered and let us drink they said it was only with a purchase of entrée. THIS WAS NEVER SAID OR WRITTEN ANYWHERE. We ended up paying over $10 for two watery margs and left.
