Established in 1970. The original owner of Nino's Pizzeria opened up this location roughly 30 years ago. Two additional locations were opened, one of which still exists on 59th Ave and Peoria. The original owner sold the 59th ave and 99th ave locations as separate business. So, although they share the common name of "Nino's Pizza" the restaurants are no longer associated with one another on a business level. The 99th ave and Olive location has only switched hands two times. Once purchased from the original owner by a woman known as Gail who, after 19 yrs of ownership sold the business to it's current owner Chirssy. Chirssy has been owner/operator of Nino's for over 7 years (as of 2013). People come from all over the west valley to visit this famous restaurant. Unable to find steady business at first, the location was changed several times before finally settling in Alhambra in 1962, where the name was changed permanently to “Pepe’s.” During these early years, the brothers often relied on the help of family members to keep the business growing. Relaxed place with simple decor where plates of sushi circulate on a conveyor belt. Our specialty is conveyor belt sushi. Various types of sushi (and other food and drinks) rotate throughout the restaurant on a conveyor belt. The price of items on the conveyor belt is $2.50 per plate all day. Simply take the items you want from the conveyor belt and stack the empty plates on your table. Your server will count the color and quantity of plates when you are ready for your check. Every item on the conveyor belt has a red tag that indicates the name and ingredients of the item. In addition to our delicious sushi we have a full kitchen menu, kids menu, beer, wine & sake.
