In 1982 the Long family opened Golden Dragon on the border of Conshohocken and Plymouth Meeting, with the intention of creating a comforting environment to share their culinary tradition. While many shops in the area have come and gone, we remain a fixture in the community. To this day we continue the family tradition, providing delicious food and friendly service to anyone who steps through our doors.
This is the best Chinese fast food that you will find in the area. The house special chicken, Thai spicy noodles, and sweet and sour chicken were all spot on and for a price that you can't beat. I think I'll skip the egg foo young because it was just okay and I can't wait to see what else they have to offer.
Again this is the best Chinese takeout in the area.

My girlfriend and I were in the mood for Chinese and swung by for a quick bite. I wouldn't really call this a sit-down Chinese restaurant. Although there are a few tables and chairs, their business is primarily take-out and there's nothing wrong with that.
I ordered a combination with orange chicken, fried rice, soup, eggroll, and crab puff. My girlfriend ordered the same, only with beef with broccoli. My girlfriend, who is a bit pickier than I am when it comes to Chinese, just felt here was okay. I thought my orange chicken wasn't too bad, but wished it were a bit more on the crispy side. The leftovers did not hold up well the next day, which isn't really a requirement, but surprising, considering most Chinese does indeed hold up.
I will give them credit for offering up a very good value, however. The amount of food that you get here for the price is fairly significant, which is always refreshing to see given that so many restaurants have been forced to jack up their menus to make a profit.
If you're in the area and in the mood for some Chinese take-out at a reasonable cost, I think you'll be happy if you keep your expectations realistic.
The staff is all sooo friendly! The food was super delicious and was quickly prepared, the only thing I'll say is the Mushroom chicken was a drop too salty and was more mushroom then chicken and I had to add some extra sauce to give the Cantonese Mei Fun noodles some more flavor :) but we will be back for sure as we appreciate great service, plus the prices where just right !
