Rito's Mexican Food
Rito's Mexican Food is celebrating 45 years of business this year and we could not be more excited about the future as a company. What began as a neighborhood convenience store within the Garfield Historic Neighborhood quickly found itself selling more burritos and tacos from its limited "to go" only kitchen, than grocery goods. To that end, Rito and Rosemary Salinas decided to pivot Rito's concept into a take-out-only Mexican Food establishment that has served the "Valley Of The Sun" time-honored family recipes spanning generations. Rosemary and Rito have since passed the company on to their daughter Charlotte who embodies the same work ethic her parents instilled within her over the course of their careers. Like a true family-owned business Charlotte works alongside her sister, nieces, nephews, sons, and long-time staff some of whom have been with the company for over 30 years. He achieved his dream 16 years later with the help of his brother David Ruiz by opening “Cotijas Taco Shop” in El Cajon, California. We’re very proud of the beautiful shop that we’ve built in Peoria, Arizona. We’re very proud of the great specialty coffee that we serve from Peixoto. We’re even proud of the matte black Not Neutral mugs that we serve our drinks in. But anyone could build something nice, serve something delicious, or buy some neat drinkware.
We’re proud of a lot of things, but we’re most proud of the community that we get to experience each and every day in and around our shop. And we certainly didn’t build this community – it was here in the surrounding neighborhoods and schools long before we broke ground. Rather, we saw an opportunity to serve and host this thriving community and concluded that a great coffee shop would be a great way to do this. Our doors opened in August 2019, and we haven’t looked back since.
Community matters to us, and that’s exactly what pushes us to serve the best coffee with the best service. We aim to make the world of coffee simple, welcoming, and approachable for anyone who walks in through our doors (or through our wall – you’ll have to come to check it out!). More than that, the world of coffee is about building relationships and we hope to foster that spirit in everything we do.

With over 20 years of experience selling tacos in Mexico, the Torres family decided to start their own taco stand in Peoria, Arizona in April 2016. Blessed with a lot of community support, the first brick and mortar location was opened in Glendale in 2017! Currently, there are 3 locations in the West valley, 2 in the East valley and 1 in Central Phoenix.
We serve authentic Mexican food. The taco was always meant for the worker on the run; an individual that needed to eat quickly but also needed it to be affordable. That is who we are. We pride ourselves in keeping our menu simple with only two meats and now a veggie option. Nothing is ever frozen. Our salsas, guacamole, and marinades are made daily. We never use concentrate for our horchata or Jamaica. Instead we soak our rice with whole cinnamon sticks overnight and blend the next day and we steep our hibiscus flowers to make our Jamaica- it’s a very labor intensive process but we do it because we want to give you an authentic experience when you eat with us.
We want to feed our customers nostalgia- remind them of home or of their grandma or mom

It all started with one big dream, two crazy cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. After thousands of dollars in wasted dough, recipes that did not live up to their expectations, and cookies that were just plain embarrassing to them today, the cousins decided to try something a bit unique, A/B testing their way to the perfect cookie. They would take the exact same cookie, change out one ingredient like chocolate chips and randomly visit local gas stations and grocery stores simply asking one question "Which one of these two cookies is the best?" They continued this testing on ingredients and cooking methods until they came up with what they believe is the world's best chocolate chip cookie.The very first Crumbl opened in Logan, UT while Sawyer was attending Utah State University (go Aggies). Since then the franchise has expanded to 260+ locations in 36 different states. Each continuing to spread warm, fresh, delicious cookies to Crumblrs everywhere.

Otto's Empire Diner
In 1952, a brand spanking new silver bullet diner was delivered to a small community in Upstate New York. This Mountainview Diner, built in Singac, New Jersey, Model No. 330, was slated to be “the most modern kitchen in all of upstate”. The residents of Herkimer watched in amazement as the diner was delivered on a flatbed truck and installed right along Main Street. For 65 years the Empire Diner has been the hub of the community and has held a special place in the hearts of many. It tells a story of a gathering of family and friends enjoying great food and lots of laughs.
Otto’s Empire Diner has kept the tradition alive and well, winning numerous awards with their food. Among the most notable are the Best Cheeseburger and Best Bacon Cheeseburger awarded by the New York Beef Council and the most recent acclaim of Best Diner in Upstate New York as voted by hundreds of thousands of New York residents.
Otto’s Empire Diner is home to the work’s largest Omelet as recognized by Ripley’s! Believe it or Not. This amazing omelet consisted of 41,040 eggs and an unbelievable 2,128.75 square feet.
