Under Review

This place just re-opened under a new owner and I am pretty impressed! We went on a UFC fight night. Even though the place was packed, the service was still on point and the food was great!! We loved the pizza and boneless wings. The staff was really friendly and the owner made his rounds to meet everyone and make sure we were satisfied. When my fiancé made a bonehead move outside the entrance and cracked his head on a badly placed parking sign, the owner himself came outside with paper towels and made sure he was OK. I loved the interesting menu choices, the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because we tried several different shots and they were all pretty bad. Great specials though, and a cool place to hang out. I'll be back again!

So Katlyn was my server today and she did a great job. Service was spot on, beer was ice cold and the burger was cooked perfect along with nice crunchy fries.

Under Review has new owners who are actually the old owners. This is great news because the place was cool when they owned it before and it is cool again now. New menu with good food, cold beer in big mugs, and renovated bar and patio. It's a great bar for sports, check it out and see.

Old review - 1 star

Went in to watch the first game of NFL football, Thursday night game, nobody in the bar at all, completely empty. All the TVs are dark. Bartender asks what I want to drink so I ask her about the TVs. They didn't pay the cable bill so no football. I left. Went back last Thursday and there is nobody there again. I am told that I can watch football but they can't serve any liquor. Huh? I left. Now there is a sign on the door saying they are closed for two weeks. Hmmm. Heard there is a "problem" with their liquor license. Too bad. I used to like this place and feel bad for the staff.

My first time at Under Review and I'll definitely be back. I'm so impressed!!! The owners and manager are awesome guys and truly care about their customers. My waitress, Hunter, is such a sweetheart and very attentive. The atmosphere is fun and exciting!!! Congrats guys on your sports bar and welcome to Surprise!!!

Update**** Are you selling food or sex? Using these young girls to bring in customers says a lot about your management, values and morals. I used to be a regular customer until the new owner decided to change the direction of advertisement. I'm a little disappointed

1/9/19 Update**** if I didn't have a $25 gift certificate I would not be eating here. The lettuce in the Cobb salad was sour and there were way too many potato chunks in the baked potato "soup." It was super NOT soupy at all.

12/21/19 Update****I'm so happy the original owner is back!! The food and the staff are better than ever. Surprise can now come back to Under Review and enjoy a great experiences. I will resume my frequent visits and always support the REAL Under Review.
