Arizona's Favorite Mexican Food
Every Filiberto’s cooks everything from scratch daily. All of the tacos, burritos, carne asada fries are all made with fresh meat and ingredients.
I love me some shrimp tacos but at 8 in the morning I thought I'd try a breakfast burrito. I looked online at their menu and decided to call our order in for pickup since I have a busy day ahead of me. I went with the country burrito which consists of eggs, cheese & potatoes. This thing was huge and good! I've never had a burrito with a fried egg inside. The ones I get from other places usually scramble them. This however was a pleasant surprise.
My husband ordered the machaca chimichanga plate. It consists of shredded beef, bell peppers, onions & tomatoes. He said it was very good. We both couldn't finish our food the portion sizes are always so good. Filbertos always has weekday specials which are priced nice. Thursdays bean tostada at $1.49 is one of my faves.
On this visit two years later, the rolled tacos were hot, crispy and fresh. They were loaded with above-average guac and a good amount of cheese. The red sauce was thicker here and better.
How do you celebrate your 1000th review with a breakfast burrito date with your hubby duh lol Any way while out and about in Surprise today we decided to stop for a quick burrito instead of waiting in the huge line at our typical breakfast stop. This location is fairly new and pretty large. There is a drive thru as well as indoor and outdoor eating area. The tables inside are still set according to Covid guidelines so seating is limited at this time. When we arrived no one else was inside so we were able to order right away. We always get extra green sauce as well as a few red. Service was friendly and we had our food within a few minutes. The bacon, egg and cheese is my fave burrito at Filibertos . The burritos are always great size and delicious. The inside was clean, drink station taken care of . Better location than the one off Bell and Reems.
