Rito's Mexican Food is celebrating 45 years of business this year and we could not be more excited about the future as a company. What began as a neighborhood convenience store within the Garfield Historic Neighborhood quickly found itself selling more burritos and tacos from its limited "to go" only kitchen, than grocery goods. To that end, Rito and Rosemary Salinas decided to pivot Rito's concept into a take-out-only Mexican Food establishment that has served the "Valley Of The Sun" time-honored family recipes spanning generations. Rosemary and Rito have since passed the company on to their daughter Charlotte who embodies the same work ethic her parents instilled within her over the course of their careers. Like a true family-owned business Charlotte works alongside her sister, nieces, nephews, sons, and long-time staff some of whom have been with the company for over 30 years. As the company continues to expand its reach across Arizona, Rito's will always remain committed to providing the same great-tasting Mexican Food that Arizona has come to love with the freshest ingredients and friendly customer service. THE BEST DONUT IN TOWN The apple fritter will change your life. The classic glazed is as good as they come. The eclair is worth every wonderful calorie. We’re talking, of course, about a little donut shop that’s taken the Valley by storm and now operates over 20 locations and growing! Bosa Donuts is everything you want in a classic donut shop – affordable. fluffy donuts served in a no-frills atmosphere by friendly staff. There are also coffee drinks, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, fruit smoothies, and hot cocoa for the kids on the menu. Although all of those items are worth trying, it’s BoSa’s unfettered take on donuts that has won them, love, from Valley residents. Bosa doesn’t try to reinvent donut recipes or show off donut bravado with culinary skills, they just simply make the perfect donut. Period. Whether you’re in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Casa Grande, Phoenix, or Scottsdale, you’ve got access to Bosa 24/7. (Seriously, they’re open 24 hours a day, seven days per week.) Bosa is opening soon at 32nd Street and Shea, as well as University Drive and Greenfield. Some locations even feature a drive-thru. which is perfect for early morning commuters or late night snackers. Will you order a chocolate-filled glazed donut or a maple covered bar? Will you choose multi-colored sprinkles or dark ones? Will you throw in a Bavarian Cream or cinnamon roll? Donuts cost around $1 here (a dozen costs between $9-$14, depending on the style), so maybe you want to forsake all the decision-making and simply grab a dozen for the office or family. – David Tyda. At NakedQ, we want you to feel like you’re at home, wherever home is. That’s why our mission is to give you the freedom to eat the BBQ you love. Rewind back before the birth of NakedQ, Pitboss Oren traveled all over the country & ate a lot of BBQ. While he enjoyed every bite, he also learned that it means something different depending on where you’re from: In the Carolinas, it’s not BBQ unless there’s pork and a vinegary sauce. In Memphis, you better be craving ribs. If you’re from St. Louis or Kansas City, you’re going to be expecting a tomatoey sauce. Texas BBQ is all about the beef brisket. Oren took all of these BBQ experiences from across the country and created NakedQ, where we rub, smoke and serve our meats naked (without sauce) like pork, ribs, brisket, links, turkey, and chicken with our tried and true recipes. From our North Carolina-style vinegar sauce to South Carolina mustard sauce to traditional sweet or spicy sauces you can choose to enjoy it, the way you love it because BBQ is as American as apple pie (even though we prefer peach.) Eat Naked! [read more]

In 1958 the first Village Inn Pancake House opened its doors in Denver, Colorado and began offering what has since made us famous— made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes, fresh eggs cooked any style, sizzling bacon and a pot of steaming hot coffee. More than once, vacationers in Denver stopped at Village Inn for a bite to eat and enjoyed it so much that they inquired about franchise opportunities before leaving. Such requests inspired co-founders Merton “Andy” Anderson and Jim Mola to place an ad in The Wall Street Journal for prospective franchisees. Soon after, the first Village Inn franchise started operating in 1961, leading the way for successful franchise development. Our reputation for serving quality all-day breakfast endures and carries over to our lunch, dinner and our award-winning pies. Village Inn serves The Best Pie In America® – like French Silk, Lemon Supreme, Country Apple and Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme. We are proud of our tradition—and happy to be part of our guests’ daily lives. With six decades of success, we have corporate and franchise restaurants totaling more than 200, located primarily in the Rocky Mountain region, the Midwest, Arizona and Florida. Our guests visit Village Inn because they know they will enjoy great-tasting food and extra-friendly service in a clean and comfortable family environment. Many of our guests who visited our restaurants in their youth now take their children and grandchildren to Village Inn— when they’re hungry for life’s simple pleasures. [read more]

With humble beginnings, we opened up the doors to Mercer's Restaurant in 1987. From the cooks to the dishwashers to the waitress who greets you at the door, we are here to help you have an enjoyable and relaxing meal. When you step into our father-son restaurant, we want you to feel like you are pulling up a chair at your best friend's table, with a comforting environment and even more comforting, delicious food. We are so grateful to have customers who have visited us across many, many years and have created a family-like environment in the restaurant. We are always trying out new daily specials, so if there is something you don't see on the menu, just ask! We welcome new dish ideas and may even be able to make it in the back. Pepe’s Restaurants have continuously served the Southland with fine quality Mexican food. Pepe’s was founded in 1962 by three brothers, Joe, Tony and Fred. Unable to find steady business at first, the location was changed several times before finally settling in Alhambra in 1962, where the name was changed permanently to “Pepe’s.” During these early years, the brothers often relied on the help of family members to keep the business growing. In 1962, their nephew “Pepe” was sent to fight in Vietnam. This is when Tony, out of love for his nephew, renamed the restaurant after him, Pepe's. In the following years, the restaurant had become a great success. However, in 1973 Tony passed away leaving Joe and Fred to run the business solely. In 1976, the youngest of the three brothers, Fred, joined in helping to expand Pepe’s Restaurants with the opening of the Downey location. Since then, Pepe’s has continued to grow, opening locations in both Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley and Orange Counties. The restaurants have continuously served authentic, high quality Mexican food, keeping their secret recipes inside the family. This has made Pepe’s the well-known establishment it is today [read more]

The world’s best cookies are available It all started with one big dream, two crazy cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. After thousands of dollars in wasted dough, recipes that did not live up to their expectations, and cookies that were just plain embarrassing to them today, the cousins decided to try something a bit unique, A/B testing their way to the perfect cookie. They would take the exact same cookie, change out one ingredient like chocolate chips and randomly visit local gas stations and grocery stores simply asking one question "Which one of these two cookies is the best?" They continued this testing on ingredients and cooking methods until they came up with what they believe is the world's best chocolate chip cookie. The very first Crumbl opened in Logan, UT while Sawyer was attending Utah State University (go Aggies). Since then the franchise has expanded to 260+ locations in 36 different states. Each continuing to spread warm, fresh, delicious cookies to Crumblrs everywhere. [read more]
