Established in 1970. The original owner of Nino's Pizzeria opened up this location roughly 30 years ago. Two additional locations were opened, one of which still exists on 59th Ave and Peoria. The original owner sold the 59th ave and 99th ave locations as separate business. So, although they share the common name of "Nino's Pizza" the restaurants are no longer associated with one another on a business level. The 99th ave and Olive location has only switched hands two times. Once purchased from the original owner by a woman known as Gail who, after 19 yrs of ownership sold the business to it's current owner Chirssy. Chirssy has been owner/operator of Nino's for over 7 years (as of 2013). People come from all over the west valley to visit this famous restaurant. This Mountainview Diner, built in Singac, New Jersey, Model No. 330, was slated to be “the most modern kitchen in all of upstate”. For 65 years the Empire Diner has been the hub of the community and has held a special place in the hearts of many. Before opening our 1st restaurant location in Peoria (2021) we were showing our vibrant culture by selling coffee and crepes to the community at local events such as "Dog Days at the Garden" at Desert Botanical Garden, and Phoenix's art walk "First Fridays" and at "The World Bazaar & Phoenix Community Market".
