How are we different than the subscription services out there? Our meal kits come fully prepped so that the only thing you need at home is access to cooking equipment, a pan or two and some cooking utensils. You won’t be chopping, dicing or zesting a thing at home so the cleanup is minimal. Our meal kits can stay frozen for weeks and sometimes up to months, so you’re never “on the line” to cook something before it goes bad. Essentially, we offer a local service that does everything for you up to the point of actual cooking. Say goodbye to hours of planning, shopping and prepping!

I love my sessions at Fixin' to Eat because they are so easy! I never have to touch meat, because it's portioned and bagged for me already. I never have to use a knife, because the ingredients are already chopped/sliced/diced. The directions are easy to follow, and before I know it, I've got my meals all ready to transport home. The best part, though, is at home, in the days and weeks after my session. Getting dinner on the table is crazy easy and fast, and the meals are delicious!
Wow!!! This is so perfect for me and so much better than the other home food delivery places. This choice where I don't have to prepare my food, also the single serve option since it's only me, it's already prepared and made and all I have to do is heat it so it's much better than that processed crap that you find at the grocery store. And you heat it in the oven because it comes in those foil type trays. The food is amazing!! oh let me tell you about the macaroni and cheese, it's not just any normal macaroni and cheese, oh no, no, no!!!! It is fabulous, it's even better than mom's homemade macaroni and cheese as a kid! And the portion size was not too small and not too large, it was just right as Goldilocks would say. Oh my God the strawberry mousse dessert was heaven. I've never tasted such heavenly perfection. There's no way I could make anything as near to that as possible! There is another option where you prepare your food but because I have MS, I prefer to keep my fingers intact instead of one or more going missing suddenly without my knowledge. I've had some near misses for sure! Oh and if you choose the delivery option, because you can pick it up yourself if you want, it doesn't come shipped in a box frozen like the other places do, this comes hand delivered to you. Talk about service! I am so happy to now have home cooked meals as opposed to processed frozen food in a box from the store! And the price is not bad at all; it is more reasonably priced than the other food delivery places that make you prepare the meal at your home. I wish I knew this business existed sooner.
I started with this meal prep-kitchen, Fixin' to Eat, at the beginning of it's opening & I have ordered every month since. What keeps me coming back, each month??

2) The food Fixin' to Eat uses is restaurant quality & tastes so GREAT!
3) I am able to feed a family of 4 that includes 2 teen boys that eat like 4 grown men, 1 adult that eats plant-based , & 1 adult that is a Weight Watchers client. I can feed ALL of these tummies with a wide range of recipes each month with Fixin' 2 Eat's menu.
4) Most of all... The meals are budget friendly.

Fixin' to Eat has made my life so much easier! As a mom who just went back to work I was struggling with meal planning and wasting food that didn't get prepared on time. When I found Fixin To Eat I still wasn't convinced my picky kids would enjoy it but I gave it a try! Though many people find it fun to 'make and take' their meals I hate to cook so I LOVE that they have an option to have them made for you. I order online and I go pick it up! They'll even bring it out to my car!
I have a meal waiting for me every night so there's far less take out. I save money and time not having to figure out what's for dinner every night and my family gets a good meal. So happy I found this place!!
