This place is cozy, family owned, and decorated so cute. Walking in they have music playing & are so friendly.
I ordered a hatch green chili hotdog & the kids got plain hotdogs. The kids hotdogs came with chips (there may have been other options I just can't remember). My hotdog came with hatch green chili, pork, sour cream, Cotija cheese, and pineapple. The hotdogs were so good! Mine was an excellent combination of toppings, and the hotdogs were made fresh. You can tell quality hotdogs are used.
Not only is the food good but so is the service. If you're looking to support a great family business & eat good hotdogs this is the place. Plus, very kid friendly atmosphere.
Their friendliness and eagerness to ensure your experience is top notch. The options are fun and experimental. Very filling and hit the craving spot just right. Definitely worth every bite! Side choices are: Cole Slaw, Fresh Potato Chips, or Fries. And aside from their fountain drinks, they offer specialty soda pop bottles.
My husband and I went specifically to try the vegan dogs. I had the Chicago vegan dog and my husband had the regular dog, both with Cole slaw. We were not disappointed. They both were delicious. The vegan dog was out of this world. Being from Chicago this is a great feat. We also had great service and some craft root beer. We were so impressed on our next visit, we brought my daughter and her husband and they agreed. The Chicago tamales were also a hit. They have a great variety of dogs and even Italian beef and sausages. Give it a try, you will enjoy!!
I've driven by this place so many times, but I rarely crave hotdogs so I never thought to stop.
After reading some of the reviews, I figured it was worth giving a shot. And since it's a small, local, family-owned business... I knew I wanted to support.
My mom came by for a quick visit, so we wanted to grab something fast but yummy. This was the perfect place.The staff was very friendly and eager to help with any questions. Moms went with the Bahn Mi (hotdog). I chose the Seattle Dog (brat) w/ added bacon.
We got them to-go since we were so close to my place (and we try to minimize our time in restaurants with COVID numbers on the rise).
They were delicious!
Mine was bursting with flavor, and the toppings really brought it altogether. Moms said hers was really good with all the veggies, although, the sauce was slightly too salty- but she still enjoyed her food.I would definitely give them another shot when I'm craving something tasty and fast.
