We have ate at this bar multiple times, we are from Nebraska & enjoy watching the game with fellow busker fans, but the food there sucks, it is always cold & when we tell them they just reheat it, so now our tater tots & fries are too crispy to eat!!! We will never go back
The service is always great and the food yummy. I love hearing the servers welcome the local regulars. It's such a great neighborhood cafe.
Super disappointed in this place. I was hoping to really like it because it's near home but I won't come back.
Ordered their house signature steak sandwich, it was supposed to come with onion rings. I got a piece of over cooked hard to chew steak in between a two pieces of focaccia bread.... I asked the server about it and then she Said "oh yeah sorry, we're out of onion rings" if you knew that, why didn't you take it off the bill completely or offer to make something else before I ordered it?!? I even told you that this was my first time and I wanted something they were known for. The server/ bartender just played it off like it's as not a big deal.... You weren't even that busy! She asked me if I wanted steak sauce and I said yes, because maybe I thought that would've made it better? And it wasn't.
Ugh I really wanted to like this place!!
The tater tots were also awful.... Hard as rocks, super oily and just not good.
Stopped in on a hot, hot, hot summer Friday. Bar area was busy but restaurant side was not. We opted to not have alcohol and just have dinner. After sitting in a booth we were immediately greeted by a server and given menus. Drink order taken. Two Cokes brought within a minute or two. Menu is a decent size so server asked if we needed a "few" minutes. We did. Those few minutes turned into about ten. Mind you there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant side. Finally when our order was taken, food arrived in about 10 minutes, by I assume the kitchen help. One prime rib sliders with tots. One BBQ bacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries.
Food was slightly above par. Fries and tots hot, cooked by to order. Prime rib was more like food service distributor quality. Should be called French Dip sliders. Was ok, a touch salty.
Burger was presented nicely but just a burger.
Server only returned to give us our check. No drink refills.
Overall it was a average experience. If service would have been more attentive definitely probably would have been a solid 3.5 or a 4 star experience.
