Unable to find steady business at first, the location was changed several times before finally settling in Alhambra in 1962, where the name was changed permanently to “Pepe’s.” During these early years, the brothers often relied on the help of family members to keep the business growing. In 1962, their nephew “Pepe” was sent to fight in Vietnam. This is when Tony, out of love for his nephew, renamed the restaurant after him, Pepe's. Specialties We specialize in street tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchilidas, flautas, chimichangas, hard tacos and taco salads! Established in 2015. We started on November 11, 2015, with high hopes that people will give us a chance on trying our food. Now almost a year and a half later we have gained many faithful customers and continue to see new faces on a weekly basis. It has been my father's dream to run his own business and he made it happen by entering the food truck business. We strive to make quality food at affordable prices. We have also been catering for small graduation parties, weddings, and churches. We hope this year we will be ready to participate in a food truck festival in the near future.
