Established in 1970. The original owner of Nino's Pizzeria opened up this location roughly 30 years ago. Two additional locations were opened, one of which still exists on 59th Ave and Peoria. The original owner sold the 59th ave and 99th ave locations as separate business. So, although they share the common name of "Nino's Pizza" the restaurants are no longer associated with one another on a business level. The 99th ave and Olive location has only switched hands two times. Once purchased from the original owner by a woman known as Gail who, after 19 yrs of ownership sold the business to it's current owner Chirssy. Chirssy has been owner/operator of Nino's for over 7 years (as of 2013). People come from all over the west valley to visit this famous restaurant. Some tell stories about coming in during their child hood and revisiting recently. Others have been coming in consistently for over 15 years. Pho Avina is a family owned and operated Vietnamese restaurant. In 1990, our family started Avina's Vietnamese Cuisine on the corner of 43rd Ave & Bell Rd. In 2005, my mother sold her store and I took over Pho Phat in 2007. We specialize in Southern Vietnamese cooking. From start to finish, our Pho broth takes 12 hours to prepare and we use fresh cuts of eye round steak, brisket, flank, shank, and oxtail to flavor our broth.
