Manuel’s Mexican Food restaurants were established in 1964 at 32nd Street and Indian School Road by Manuel and Alice Salazar. Our desire to serve the community with a friendly atmosphere and to serve our guests with the finest in Mexican food still holds true today as much as it did the first day we opened our doors. As our family grew so did the amount of restaurants. Today, all of the restaurants are owned and operated individually yet collectively by all members of the Salazar family. Established in 1970. The original owner of Nino's Pizzeria opened up this location roughly 30 years ago. Two additional locations were opened, one of which still exists on 59th Ave and Peoria. The original owner sold the 59th ave and 99th ave locations as separate business. So, although they share the common name of "Nino's Pizza" the restaurants are no longer associated with one another on a business level. The 99th ave and Olive location has only switched hands two times. Once purchased from the original owner by a woman known as Gail who, after 19 yrs of ownership sold the business to it's current owner Chirssy. Chirssy has been owner/operator of Nino's for over 7 years (as of 2013). People come from all over the west valley to visit this famous restaurant.
