The no-nonsense buffet joint provides unlimited servings of Chinese eats, from noodles to seafood.
Some Chinese restaurants look fancy and have bad food. This place is the opposite. It's a simple restaurant in an urban shopping area, but the food is fresh and clean. The buffet makes sense and the hot and cold dishes were great. Friendly staff. Patrons are predominantly Latino and it has a clean family friendly atmosphere. Been here twice, never disappointed. Fair prices. Yum!
Just not very good.. Everything had a faint fishy taste staff not very helpful. Disappointing at the least. I won't go back.
My bf and I decided to try this place out at last minute because the other Chinese buffet place that we were supposed to go was tiny and FULL.
Our first impression when we entered this place was the lighting was off, the place itself was a little dirty specially at the fountain drinks area, the floor was wet.
We were so hungry so we went straight to the food, lol. I tried their fried rice, honey chicken, sesame chicken, sweet pork, egg rolls, spring rolls. My bf tried their fried rice too, chow mein noodle, egg rolls, spring rolls, sweet pork, fried chicken and other stuff LOL
The only decent food were their fried rice & the sweet pork, they were surprisingly delicious! The spring rolls was pretty damn good too actually. After we were done eating, we wanted to get dessert, but nothing really looked appetizing, specially they have bananas with sweet cherry or Strawberry sauce, but the bananas were already oxidizing and turning brown, they didn't look fresh.
I just wish the place was brighter though, it was way too dim. The food was okay, like I said the fried rice is good! But I'm not sure if we will be coming back.
I just moved to this area and have been wanting to try this restaurant. Finally did today and was highly disappointed. I had the crab and was disgusted by the way it looked inside and smelled. It was black, slimy, and had a revolting odor that smelled much like a cat's litter box.
I told one of the workers that the crab was bad and had a sour smell. I also recommended that she tell the cook before someone gets sick. She just took my plate and walked away. If anyone complains about getting food poisoned from this place, it wouldn't surprise me. The up-keeping in the restaurant was also very outdated and dirty. The only good out of the restaurant was the nice worker and went out of her way to get me butter for my sour crab.
All the other food was "decent", and just that. I would not recommend this place-- not even for a quick meal. It's not worth your time or your money.
Nice, small place to take the whole family on a budget. It does have variety, one of the best items is pizza. They have plenty of gluten-free items and dairy free items too. We have eaten here for decades, never had any incidents or problems.
The place could use newer lighting and a makeover, but then it would lose its charm and character. Besides, the prices would go up.
