Exactly what my tummy wanted!
They were open Easter Sunday, during the Covid-19. We went through the drive through and got our food pretty quickly.
Large portions with authentic flavor!
I got the taco and enchilada combo. Very satisfied. I did not choose my meat and was surprised to get a shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada. I was very happy. My husband got the Jr. Burrito and was much bigger than he thought it would be. He was happy too.
The price was right too!
Was going to hit the drive through for a quick bite on our way home from Williams but we decided to go in, sit down and eat there. Really glad we tried Armando's because our experience was good.
The lady behind the counter wasn't the most friendly and had a bit of a scowl on her face but she wasn't rude or anything - just to the point and uhhh, efficient.
My husband had a carne asada burrito and a cheese quesadilla. He said both were very good. In fact, the carne wasn't all gristly and was almost a bit shredded because it was so tender. He said it had great flavor and he really enjoyed it.
I'm especially glad we went inside because I was able to get menudo. The menudo was very flavorful and full of tripe and hominy and served with delicious tortillas, oregano, onion, cilantro and lemon. I added some of the red salsa and it was perfect. Love that you can have all the sides that make menudo so special. There was so much in my bowl that I was only able to eat about one third of it and take the rest home. That's my lunch today!
I think the prices are a little high but I was happy with my experience.
I've been coming here for years and think I've tried everything on the menu at this point. Everything is delicious, fresh, and made to order. Some of my favorites include the carne asada burrito (a classic!), the carne asada fries (delicious!), and the rolled tacos (I always ask for lettuce and pico on them). It looks like they recently renovated the dining room and it looks great.
