This Mountainview Diner, built in Singac, New Jersey, Model No. 330, was slated to be “the most modern kitchen in all of upstate”. For 65 years the Empire Diner has been the hub of the community and has held a special place in the hearts of many. Among the most notable are the Best Cheeseburger and Best Bacon Cheeseburger awarded by the New York Beef Council and the most recent acclaim of Best Diner in Upstate New York as voted by hundreds of thousands of New York residents.
