Osteria Mia is an Italian restaurant featuring wood fired pizza, hand made pasta, and other Italian specialties. We have an ever changing wine list featuring Italian varietals. We offer craft beer and cocktails as well with a full bar. We are a scratch kitchen, where everything is made fresh in house from our hand pulled mozzarella to our fresh made pastas.
My 4th or 5th time to this restaurant. I keep giving it a chance. Love the food but the service leaves a lot to be desired. It's nice to have a nicer restaurant in the neighborhood. We went for happy hour, it was not busy. We sat at the bar and ordered some food off of the happy hour menu. The Pizzete (small pizza) was good, the meatball slider, my sister loved it, and the eggplant stack was very good, would order it again. We requested a side of sauce for dipping and it came out ice cold. We asked that they heat it up and that seemed like a burden. Our bartender (also our server) was cold and could care less that we were there. Any question we had regarding food or drink seemed like so much trouble. We each had a couple of glasses of wine, but the second one I got was corked. When I let him know it was bad he seemed really put out. We may order food to go in the future but as for eating in probably not.
First time here and was a bit disappointed with the food. I had the
orecchiette pasta with Parmesan cream sauce with Pancetta and peas.
The cream sauce had no flavor whatsoever and what they call Pancetta was not, more like regular crispy bacon, again with no flavor
Also had a white pizza with chicken, pesto and balsamic glaze. Crust was nice and crunchy but pizza also was lacking flavor.
First time at this place and I'm very impressed!
I got the tortellinis and it was amazing!!Cute little spot! The bread and butter is perfect and the side salad ceaser salad was good !!!

A nice environment although it is just an open room with tables. The decor is chic and the vibe is European.
I had the tagliatelle bolognese. The noodles are good, but for my preference, I like them with more starch on the surface so the sauce sticks a bit more. They definitely tasted like the noodles were rinsed. Also, I like a meatier sauce with a thicker tomato base. Although the flavour was good, the sauce was thin and sparse.
They have good ice tea.
The service was good, not outstanding, but solid considering these COVID restricted times.
Overall, good food, slightly small portions, decent food, but a bit on the expensive side.
