Nineteen 86 specializes in elegant dining in a casino atmosphere. Our menu ranges from the finest
meats to the freshest seafood. The atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable. A private dining area is
available for meetings or dinner functions.
Money lost in a slot machine is better spent than at this restaurant. The GM should be horrified at experience their concierge, or whoever Connie is, created this evening. We were seated right next to a woman who spends a lot of time and money in the casino despite the restaurant being nearly empty. She thought she was very important and apparently Connie thought schmoozing this woman and her adults kids and grandson, Ryder, was far more important than my boyfriend's birthday dinner.
We learned all about the families daily activities, where they each currently live and where they're from ( Go Dallas Stars!), love for butter, preferences in Ray Ban sunglasses, how tall the 6ft 5 husband is, the woman's preferences in wine from various regions and her needs for free sporting game tickets- but they absolutely cannot be split into twos.
Do you care that Ryder eats blueberries every morning for breakfast or that Connie's counterpart is from out of the country (we didn't get her name) and has a 22 year old son? Yeah- neither do we. Do better. I should probably mention the spongy, frozen lobster but that might be overkill.
We had a great time and great food. Very upscale atmosphere, forgot we were even in the casino, no smoke smell which is a huge plus.
Ken was AMAZING with the Table-side Caeser & Bananas Foster presentation were both excellent.
Wouldn't get the Waygu again but everything else made up for it.

Service: Top-notchOverall: Eating in a casino is generally a 50-50 coin toss, but 1986 really impressed me. The atmosphere screams high-class and the staff reflects it.
They aren't stuck up, but very professional. The food is FANTASTIC! I haven't had a better steak in the valley.
The bartenders know their drinks and they have a wide selection of wine.YOU DO NEED A RESERVATION AFTER 4. The bar might be open, but I can see why this place fills up so fast. I definitely recommend.

I started with oysters and two giant shrimp cocktail. A+
8oz filet medium with peppercorn, green beans. A+
Finished with a glass of wine, then a nice cup of espresso.
