Valley Bar is located in a notable downtown building constructed in 1949 on Central Avenue just north of Adams which was once the home of The Hub art galleries, Sub Cultural Arts Center (where Sound Garden, Green Day, and Bad Brains played their stage), famed Bickoff’s Deli and the Theater Triad.
Our interior decor by Patch & Clark Design is done up in a color palette full of soft yellows, cool greys, and bright whites which serves to remind you that this is sunlit Arizona. Javier Ruiz immigrated to the United States in 1967 with the dream of opening a taco shop. He achieved his dream 16 years later with the help of his brother David Ruiz by opening “Cotijas Taco Shop” in El Cajon, California. Thanks to the success of this restaurant, more of the Ruiz family members were able to become more involved in the company. In 2003, the Ruiz brothers decided it’s time to expand the family business to Tennessee under the name “Oscar’s Taco Shop®.“ Today, Javier Ruiz has handed the keys to his kids and even though he is retired, he reminds them to always look forward and never look back. As a result, “Oscar’s Taco shop®” is more popular than ever! The family could not be happier and you should be too. Graziano's Pizzeria
From September of 1989 until June 1999, my wife and I owned and operated "Town Line Deli and Pizzeria" on Cape Cod Massachusetts.
Back in January 1999, we vacationed in Arizona at my brother's house in Arrowhead. Anthony and Tina told us the area was starving for a "family" owned Pizzeria where families can enjoy the casual atmosphere and great back east style Italian food at a good price. On the airplane ride back to frigid, snowy, icy, Cape Cod, Judy and I decided to put our pizzeria up for sale and move ourselves and our son Robert to the Valley of the Sun.
Our hopes are to establish a casual family atmosphere at an affordable price. We look forward to providing you with the finest, freshest ingredients available and we will do our best to ensure your visit is one to remember. Your continuing patronage and suggestions will be much appreciated and also a major factor in our success.

Pepe's Lounge
Pepe’s Restaurants have continuously served the Southland with fine quality Mexican food. Pepe’s was founded in 1962 by three brothers, Joe, Tony and Fred. Unable to find steady business at first, the location was changed several times before finally settling in Alhambra in 1962, where the name was changed permanently to “Pepe’s.” During these early years, the brothers often relied on the help of family members to keep the business growing. In 1962, their nephew “Pepe” was sent to fight in Vietnam. This is when Tony, out of love for his nephew, renamed the restaurant after him, Pepe's.
In the following years, the restaurant had become a great success. However, in 1973 Tony passed away leaving Joe and Fred to run the business solely. In 1976, the youngest of the three brothers, Fred, joined in helping to expand Pepe’s Restaurants with the opening of the Downey location. Since then, Pepe’s has continued to grow, opening locations in both Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley and Orange Counties.
The restaurants have continuously served authentic, high quality Mexican food, keeping their secret recipes inside the family. This has made Pepe’s the well-known establishment it is today

Starliner Diner
The Starliner Diner was added in 2007 so that Sanderson Ford customers, employees, neighbors, and friends in Glendale would have a safe, friendly, and fun atmosphere to meet in and share excellent breakfast, lunch, or soda shoppe treats.
Since opening, we have played host and meeting spot to Ford retirees, car clubs, and social events. We even host car shows and have a special 50's style menu.

A new chapter began for me in 2015 with my bakery business Cindy Loves Cakes, after baking for friends and family, they'd continuously tell me that I should be selling my bakery creations.
