Love this place. Especially like that they offer a variety of both broiled, baked and fried seafoods. They also always have both New England and Manhattan chowders; each being delicious! Staff is attentive and friendly.

Good seafood can be hard to find in Arizona, especially the Atlantic classics, but Taylor's does a very good job. Their chowder is solid, but does not need the olive oil. Their fish and shrimp are cooked to order, and are fresh, and you will find the service very friendly. Lots of Atlantic seafood choices to opt for, and many menu items are very good. I would recommend any of their shrimp, as well as the Cod or Catfish

Heard great things about the Chowder House. We started off with the clam chowder which was very good. I ordered the combo which was fried cod, shrimp, and scallops. The food was overcooked in my opinion. My wife had the fried cod and had a similar issue being over cooked but she enjoyed the meal. My son had the sea food Alfredo. He wasn't a fan but I thought it was very probably the best of the meals I tried. Friends had the mahi-mahi and said it was fantastic. Next time I'll try the same with some chowder. Not a huge variety to choose from. You won't find crab legs, lobster or salmon on the menu, mainly cod dishes either fried or baked.

I have had an urge for seafood for the longest time. I have also heard the greatest things about Taylor's clam chowder so made my in and did not regret it. I got some huge shrimp cocktail nice and chilled with a very tangy cocktail sauce. Got some bread and butter which was dry and the least enjoyable part of the meal. It was saved by the garlic herb butter that came with it. Then came my bowl of clam chowder. Nice and thick with lots of pieces that blew my mind. Honestly one of the best clam chowder's I have ever had. The big bowl was only $5 and an incredible bargain. Also got a nice greens salad with balsamic glaze. My main dish was a seafood alfredo. The sauce, like the chowder, was so thick which I do not find at other places. The various pieces of seafood were cooked perfectly and soothed my palette with each bite.
Now, let me warn you that Taylors is a bit hard to find as it is behind some buildings in a strip mall. Find it and discover it because for being in the desert, CHOWDER IS HERE!!!!
