I had forgotten how busy Bell Road is with traffic. I put on the Navi to locate Leo's and was able to pull into the parking lot.
It is a tiny place with maybe 10 tables. Most of the tables were occupied with people waiting or enjoying their meal.
I got take out. I decided on the chicken combination which included BBQ and katsu chicken, white rice, veggies and Mac salad. Several orders were ahead of me. Everything is cooked fresh to order. I waited about 15 minutes. While I waited, I gathered my containers of teriyaki and katsu sauce.
The meal is huge and the prices are super reasonable.
Both chickens were delicious especially with the different sauces. Very flavorful and tender. The Mac salad was enough to get a taste. The veggies were fine. I will definitely have to remember this place and visit next time we're in the area. Highly recommend.
Lots of parking outside.

Being from Tennessee, barbecue ribs is a specialty all the way from dry rub to juicy Memphis style.

We usually eat Mexican food whilst in Phoenix, but we wanted to take a break so we chose this restaurant.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised that there was a posting on the door that everyone was required to wear a mask except for when eating or drinking

We now know why this restaurant has a 4.5 star rating. Our lunches were delicious.

We started our afternoon repast with a 4 piece of crab Rangoon and it was the best we had ever tasted. Elegantly crispy on the outside with more than ample crab on the inside, served with a sweet & sour orange sauce.

My wife had the Chicken and Kalua Pork combo and I had the Island Short Ribs. Each lunch was served with an ample serving of white rice, macaroni salad, and a steamed broccoli & cabbage bed. When we picked them up from the counter, each meal weighed literally 2 pounds!

Our ribs, chicken and pork was so tender and tasty. I could eat the rib meat right off the bone and I think it melted in my mouth before I swallowed it. My ribs (kind of like thin pork chops) were bone in. There was a little gristle on the thin side of the bone. My meal had 6 "chops" to the order.

The cleanliness of the restaurant is average. The staff is super friendly and all wore masks. We chose to sit outside in a covered dining area.

We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return.

Believe the hype. This place is fantastic. Amazing Hawaiian BBQ. Traditional dark meat chicken, kalbi (short ribs), katsu, fried fish, shrimp etc. the Mac salad is excellent, the sauces are drinkable (they are so good).

We ordered chicken katsu, and mixed bbq. Each box was 5# of food! Not joking.

They have indoor dining but all orders are packed to go.

Find this gem! Just off Bell Rd. I can't believe I didn't get pictures!
