We’re proud of a lot of things, but we’re most proud of the community that we get to experience each and every day in and around our shop. And we certainly didn’t build this community – it was here in the surrounding neighborhoods and schools long before we broke ground. Rather, we saw an opportunity to serve and host this thriving community and concluded that a great coffee shop would be a great way to do this. Our model, requested by the owner, called for a drive-thru format where a totally fresh menu would be provided for a fast-food restaurant and Phoenicians on the go. The difficulty with serving fresh food in a fast-food delivery style is timing. In a regular restaurant, the food is ordered and the chef or cook puts the meats on the grill or flat top. When it’s done, it is served to the customer. However, in fast food, the traffic speeds have to be anticipated and cooked just ahead of the customer driving through the drive-up lane. Scrunch Dawgs specializes in Chicago-styled hot dogs prepared on a freshly steamed poppy seed bun. Using only Vienna beef for our hotdogs. Choose from our Classic Polish, Spicy Polish, Bratwurst, Classic Jumbo, and a regular-sized hotdog for those that enjoy the classic dog. Freshly prepared topping such as tomatoes, sweet onion, sweet green relish, sport pepper, dill pickle, sauerkraut, chili, cheese, celery salt, yellow mustard, spicy mustard, ketchup, and mayo. Four different chips to choose from and a variety of soft drinks, teas, Gatorade, and water. We also carry a full line of premium sodas - choose from 6 different flavors: Root Beer, Diet Root Beer, Orange and Cream, Grape, Cream Soda, and Black Cherry. Come out and enjoy a meal with us.
