Great friendly waitstaff. The pickles for the appetizers are delicious. Nice and crispy. I ordered half sandwich and soup. Wanted the multicolored rye bread, but that was all sold out. Sandwich was delicious. Chowder was delicious. Slaw was even good. Definitely a come back again place.
Took some cookies home for later sampling.
Cute place and good food but make sure you have some time.
I have been to another Chompie's location before and loved the bagels and breakfast sandwiches. I just moved and was happy to find this new location nearby.
I stopped in to grab bagels and a breakfast sandwich to go. Unfortunately, it took over 15mins before my order came out despite it being a weekday morning that didn't appear busy. The only person who was in line before me ordered a quick bagel that he got at the front counter. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and the lox bagel (which isn't a hot sandwich but had to be prepared). Just seems like it shouldn't take so long, perhaps next time I'll order online. Still enjoyed the food and they are very generous with the cream cheese!
If you have a little time to wait, would stop in and grab something! Can't speak for the drinks or baked goods because I haven't tried them, but they look good.
What a disappointment. This was our favorite place to eat. We came this afternoon and sat at the bar. We were going to walk through some business and eat. NO GUEST WIFI. So we mentally make a note not to meet here again. Then we get menus. No low carb options- where did that go? I chose a salad, but I was excited for low carb pizza or a sandwich. My salad was missing dressing, but we got more. The Sliders were apparently excellent! Yeah! Then we ordered coffee to go (hint hint) and our bartender disappeared. Um. We were done with the coffee and she still never brought us a bill. The coffee was delicious. Then I tried to buy some bread on the way out, but the cashiers were busy taking dining orders and filling them - no one to pay for the floor merchandise:( we waited and waited and finally had to leave. ;(
Might be worth the drive to another location.
Stopped by on our way home. New location and higher pricing. We have enjoyed Chompies in the past. We bought a large selection of cookies and desserts to take home. Sadly most of what we got was dry, hard or lacked flavor. They have a great display of choices. We were not impressed at all. We liked two of the 10 desserts we bought. Don't know if we will give them another try for dessert.
