Established in 2015.
We started on November 11, 2015, with high hopes that people will give us a chance on trying our food. Now almost a year and a half later we have gained many faithful customers and continue to see new faces on a weekly basis. It has been my father's dream to run his own business and he made it happen by entering the food truck business. We strive to make quality food at affordable prices. We have also been catering for small graduation parties, weddings, and churches. We hope this year we will be ready to participate in a food truck festival in the near future. We opened our first location in downtown Glendale in 1990. Since then we have opened 4 more locations in Phoenix, Glendale, and Surprise. All locations are family owned and operated. Rito's Mexican Food is celebrating 45 years of business this year and we could not be more excited about the future as a company. What began as a neighborhood convenience store within the Garfield Historic Neighborhood quickly found itself selling more burritos and tacos from its limited "to go" only kitchen, than grocery goods. To that end, Rito and Rosemary Salinas decided to pivot Rito's concept into a take-out-only Mexican Food establishment that has served the "Valley Of The Sun" time-honored family recipes spanning generations. Rosemary and Rito have since passed the company on to their daughter Charlotte who embodies the same work ethic her parents instilled within her over the course of their careers. Like a true family-owned business Charlotte works alongside her sister, nieces, nephews, sons, and long-time staff some of whom have been with the company for over 30 years.
