At Cactus Taproom it is our aim to be a destination for both local Peoria, Arizona residents and craft beer lovers from across the valley of the sun. Our offerings include a diverse selection of craft beers, wines and ciders from Arizona, the Southwest and beyond. We have 14 rotating taps of craft beers and ciders as well as specialized wine selections. We provide diverse options so that any craft beer or wine drinker will find a hand-crafted brew that they will enjoy. We also carry a carefully purveyed selection of bottled and canned beer for consumption on-premises and packaged to-go.
Great place to sit down and try some excellent craft brews! Knowledgeable staff can really help if you're looking for something specific. Further it's an awesome place to pick up some take home stock! Rare to find a place with so many choices of both local and non-local craft beer that you can try and then buy some to take home.
They also serve wine and snacks, but here's a really cool kicker, they allow OUTSIDE food in their establishment! So if your local food purveyor doesn't have a beverage that agrees with your pallet, get their food to go and drop in for a pint or two to go along with your food. And p.s. they don't require you to bring enough to share.
Most places offer several IPA's these days and the standard boring brews, but these folks have so many different types of brews from IPA's, Wheat beers, Stouts and more! So get your brew on at the Cactus Tap Room, you'll be glad you did!
Had a quick turn around trip to Phoenix for work and decided to visit my friend and her amazing family who now live in Surprise. I wanted to have a drink with her, away from the kids and treated her to a place where she could have her suburban glass of wine and I could try a new local brew. I knew she would rather be away from the "city" and seeing how there was nothing in Surprise that looked tolerable from my perspective, I used yelp to find Cactus Taproom in nearby Peoria. Tried the Dankworth IPA from Wren House Brewing Company. It was delicious and definitely suggest it. What really made this place a five-star review wasn't the delicious beer, which definitely helped, but more so the great atmosphere provided by this spot. Folks having fun, knowledgeable and friendly employees, and its affordable. I noticed that you can bring your own food or maybe bring in food from neighboring business too. I will definitely go back when I visit the area for Spring Training.
Very nice first experience yesterday. Good beer selection and variety. It appears that they turn over their drafts frequently - nice to try new things! We brought a pizza from across the street, as their food choices are limited to snacks. Patio small but nicely set up. Music a bit loud but good selections for a younger crowd without scaring seniors away. Very diverse group, with many taking beer to go (they have very reasonable prices on growler fills and quite a large can/bottle selection). Bartender friendly and appropriately attentive. We'll be back!
This is a great taproom on the west side. Carrie and Tyler are always very inviting and there is always several great beers on tap or in the fridge to drink there or take home. They don't offer much in the way of food other than snacks but there are several places around that delivers to CT at no additional charge.
