The food and the atmosphere are great. The service was awesome, too. Alejandra is an excellent server. We've been here several times and have always had a good experience. One word of caution, though. We went once on taco Tuesday and it took several hours before we ate. It's very busy, but we didn't mind. We were there with friends and had great conversation.
This is our go to spot. The staff is very friendly and is always attentive. The Enchi burro is awesome . Get it Christmas style. The margaritas are the best for miles. If all you need is a Taco and cheese crisp it will be there before you blink. Large patio with heaters for those who feel better sitting outside. Great place to chill and enjoy good company.
On a chilly night sitting on the patio, my young daughter asked the waiter for "Hot Chocolate" we laughed, knowing it wasn't on the menu.
He ended up coming back with the best hot chocolate we've ever had. Creamy and smooth, with a spicy cinnamon flavor.
These days, everyone in the restaurant industry is working harder than ever, I appreciate that Top Shelf hasn't forgotten how to provide awesome service.
Awesome Pollo Fundido, the best in the valley in my humble opinion. The chips and salsa were plentiful, but not my favorite. They've changed the chips and they taste a little odd more like a white corn, which is fine just not my preference. They were a bit busy but there's decent space to social distance in the lobby and most people were wearing masks. Prices are okay about what you would expect $$-$$$. Service was excellent. It's the first time my son has gotten to try fried ice cream and sopapillas so we splurged and got one of each and shared at the table. The fried ice cream did not disappoint. The sopapillas were okay. Overall I would recommend certain dishes here and the experience however this will definitely be a place of choice, and not one we would often frequent.
