Deli food, Great Liquor and so much more
3.5 to be 100 percent fair, friends who live down the street swear by this place. It's a deli inside a SHELL with a huge menu, cheap no, fast no (As they say "it's real food not fast food" call ahead. The prices on some things were good other things I had to scratch my head over $7 dollars for a PB&J ? The ladies behind the counter were super nice! I had been craving a meatball sandwich! So I ordered a large $12.99 (sandwich only) to have leftovers (all to go) it was toasty cheesy and delicious, meatballs were pretty good and it cured my craving...........and I had to go for the chili cheese fries! Don't base your expectations on the general stock photo on the wall that looks like chili cheese fries you can get anywhere. The best 7 dollars spent, first of all it was a huge portion with REAL chili with big hunks of meat not that stuff at fast food or other places, covered in cheese with thick steak fries, the chili was okay but I'm pretty sure it was homemade and to be honest I could only eat 1/4th of it in one sitting. Lots to choose from, lots of things they charge extra for, but I want to go back and try their subs.
I have been visiting the corner deli now for several years. It is one of my family's favorite places in central Phoenix to visit for a bite on the go. Their staff is very friendly I'm super accommodating and they truly value their customer!
This is our favorite place for breakfast on the go especially on our way to school early in the morning.
As we had all day meetings at work decided to try this location out as they delivered and are close to our office. Perhaps it's the online ordering solution that we used but when we received a philly cheesesteak there were no peppers or onions on the sandwich. There was no capability to identify how to cook the hamburgers so well done was all we received. For the price you are paying for a hamburger/sandwich/wrap you would expect more than just the sandwich. I think there are better options available in this area and will not be back.
Good food but they only get 4 stars for having pasta salad on their menu when they don't actually have pasta salad.
