We found Sushi Yuki because of the new Long Wongs that opened next door. We love sushi and Japanese cuisine so we decided for a change and tried it out. We were pleasantly surprised to how packed the place was, it was a Friday so either way it was a given. I always feel if a place is packed it has to be good. Anyways, we didn't have to wait to be seated as we were a small party of 3. We were waited on quickly for drinks, recommendations from the waiter included green iced tea (which i ordered & added sweetener to it), and a few other specialty drinks they offer. My dad ordered the black tea which he enjoyed iced with no additional sweetener.
To start, we ordered edamame which came out fresh and quick. My mom decided to order the YakiSoba which she now orders it every single time. My dad likes to order sushi, he described his sushi as fresh and quality with appropriate traditional portion sizes. He also ordered the shrimp fried rice, he really liked it. I ordered the salmon dinner plate that came with white rice and habachi style veggies. The food was very delicious. We have already returned a few times since our first time. Since then I've also tried there chicken katso which was very good, I would recommend the sauce on the side if you've never tried it before as it is very tangle and you may want to try it first. I've also tried the salmon teriyaki bowl and the chicken teriyaki bowl which were both very filling and very nutritious. Everything is very fairly priced. What a wonderful place! First of all it took my son for his 25th birthday last night and was greeted and waited on by a wonderful person and Server named Christina, I explained that I had never had Japanese food before and never had sushi, never had sake, she did her best to explain and thorough detail about the variety of dishes on the menu. I wanted to try one of everything! What a wonderful time excellent food and excellent service! We will definitely be back!
Solid place for lunch. Bento boxes and sushi combos. My mom was impressed but bummed they were closed on Mondays when she tried to take her husband for lunch.
The shrimp tempura and veggies were great. My sushi combo was good. The bentos are large and plentiful. We were one of two tables in the house. Cute dining room and nice server.
Location; 83rd Ave and Thunderbird next to Sprouts, small little place and always clean.
Food; Vegetable Tempura was mighty tasty, crisps and fried to perfection. Baked Scallop roll, not one of the best but good. Perfect lunch!
Service; Always super friendly!
