Have had lots of pizza since last review of many months ago. Ordered a cheese stuffed crust and pepperoni cheese stuffed crust for offspring and me. Also tried the spicy garlic chicken poppers.
The pizza was tasty, the chicken poppers were a pit soggy. Service online was pretty seamless and took about 20 minutes. Down graded review from previous four stars, only because I have had better pizza since last review and prefer a mom and pop neighborhood pizza joint when available.
I am sure this past year has diminished many neighborhood mom and pop restaurants. Hope some will emerge post pandemic. In the meantime, Papa John's will do.
I call Papa John's in Buckeye a day ahead to order chicken for my super bowl party. I ordered honey Chipotle chicken an order of Garlic Parmesan. $41.00 worth of chicken and it is not what I ordered. They gave me honey Chipotle chicken and an order of just regular chicken. I call to let them know and the manager to me I could place another order. I refuse to purchase more chicken. When you screwed up my order. I will never purchase chicken or pizza from them again.
Ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza and breadsticks. The breadsticks were very short and round but that was okay, until we saw the pizza.
It looks like someone had literally doused ranch all over the pizza, it looked absolutely despicable and inedible. I honestly can't believe anyone would think that this looks like a good pizza.
We were hung up on multiple times, and will probably never order Papa John's pizza ever again.
My pizza hardly had any toppings on it. I ordered pepperoni and pineapple and it barely had pineapple and they charged $2.50 for pineapple!!! Like maybe 8 on the whole pizza! Also the dough wasn't cooked all the way through. Terrible pizza. I was beyond disappointed. When I was really looking forward to it because it's usually my favorite pizza. It was floppy and raw in some parts. Disgusting. Had to throw a $25 pizza away.
