This place is so cute. I love the outdoor area for cool Arizona nights. I definately need to come back for that experience.

Met some ladies here for lunch as we were in the area. The hostess and waitress were super nice and helpful. You can't go wrong with the fajitas or margaritas! The ladies who frequent here say meals are a hit or miss. Maybe it depends on who is cooking.

As far as gluten friendly options there are soft beef tacos on corn tortillas and the pico de gallo.

Worth stopping by.

Delicious gluten free Chille Relleno! Yum! Took my Father out to lunch, it's been a long time since we have been in the area and we're surprised how much it's changed! Both of our favorites are Chile Relleno and they did not disappoint! The side of rice and beans was delicious. I think we bit preferred the green sauce.

Since we came specifically for the Chile Relleno, I can speak to any other dishes but everyone around us seemed satisfied.

It has cute outdoor dining on the patio. We arrived by 1130 and was very busy but when we left 1 pm it had settled down. Looks like dog friendly patio, so we'll bring our pup on the next visit. The staff were nice and restaurant clean. I found the prices reasonable with large portions

It started out a little rocky, I was afraid because ever since seeing it on PBS I've wanted to try it. We opted to sit inside as the patio was near full (we were the only ones inside) and we were immediately given chips and salsa by an assistant and then we waited and we waited and we waited.......I can't say they were short staffed because there were a ton of people working bustling back and forth and I can't say we were hidden in the back because we were right by the kitchen door and POS system.......rough start 15 minutes for someone to approach the table I was literally about to get up and ask someone if we had a server (it was not a busy time of day FYI) once we actually HAD a server she was very sweet and knowledgeable (besides timing my only complaint was iced tea never got refilled) most of the table got beer or margaritas and said they packed a punch sometimes at places you doubt any alcohol made it into the glass. I had to get the chili rellenos I heard they do them a little different but I wanted to try a variety so I got the number 2 which had a relleno , taco and a cheese enchilada.....DOWN TO BUSINESS the chili relleno wasn't a big hit cheesy with no taste wrapped in a scrambled egg, taco I took home and ate the next day and it was delicious ! I can't imagine how good it was fresh. I am pretty sure it was shredded beef which I love (usually when a place says it's a beef taco it's ground beef) CHEESE ENCHILADA the BEST I have ever had, it was much bigger than the usual sliver you get other places, great red sauce and filled with gooey cheese (great flavor) rice and beans perfection! Chips very good and hot sauce delicious and hot. One of our friends got a combo with the relleno and tostada which was unusual for her and the Tostada was half the size of her plate LOVED IT and she also didn't care for the chili relleno. My partner ordered the chili relleno dinner (2) and barely picked at it "thank god for rice, beans and chips" was mentioned. Bad start with the service made up for by the food we just weren't a fan of the chili relleno which I know is their specialty maybe we are wrong idk.....if I am wrong I'll be the first to admit I've got "egg on my face" !

Paul why do Park Cafe and Papa Paul have good food but OP taste gross? this menu needs an overhaul. The chips and salsa and the drinks don't make up for the food. If this wasn't and over flow place for the other two places I don't think I would come here. Really people come here for the ambiance not the food. If he changed up the menu I can bet money on it he would have more business than he would know what to do with! Change the food so I can give you 5 stars like I do the the other places.
