If you're a first timer, try to finagle a combo plate. The tacos were all delicious. The caramel filled churros we're, as well, and plenty for two people to share.
The staff was very friendly and on top of their game the entire time.
La Bamba is my new favorite place to stop when I am in town visiting the Mother Ship.
I stopped by La Bamba with high hopes after reading reviews. I tasted both regular taco and the Bamba tacos. The Bamba taco seemed to be slightly bigger and had a nice layer of cheese.
Taste wise, the tacos were fine, but nothing particularly special about them. As seen in the picture, they come with 3 different salsas, and you can request an additional habanero salsa - but surprisingly I felt like it lacked flavor.
The staff was friendly and attentive. They all ensured that I didn't need anything else and were quick to serve everything.
In summary, this is a great small business with a friendly staff. In my opinion, the tacos are a little lackluster, but hey! I still suggest everyone to go and give it a try - perhaps you'll love them.
My first visit here was when I was checking out Surprise right before I moved. Finally was able to make another visit the other day and the tacos are even better than I remembered.
Staff was friendly, just two ladies working the grill and counter and it was during lunch so a slight wait but they did a great job. Who wouldn't wait for fresh hot tacos?
Got bamba style carne asada along with chicken and carnitas (I have no idea what the yellow sauce is, but combined with the red and green they are bomb!!)

I have not rated in a bit but this place opened up that need. Let me start by sharing that I a torn in reviewing this taco heaven because I want to keep it to myself. On the other hand, this place deserves it position as one of the best tacos I have experienced in Arizona. Goodness like the expert craftsmanship of a taco that is made here deserves to be shared with any who are willing to enjoy. I highly recommend the "La Bamba" style Carne Asada taco for starters into your first of many more trips to this Taco Heaven. Enjoy! (Don't forget to try the special Agua Frescas!)
