Arizona's Favorite Mexican Food
Every Filiberto’s cooks everything from scratch daily. All of the tacos, burritos, carne asada fries are all made with fresh meat and ingredients.
Stopped in for lunch and chose this place because it was close to work. First thing I noticed is it was a drive thru which I wasn't expecting but it's my first time in Arizona. I got the carne asada bowl and a raspberry tea. I also got some hot sauce. On the hot sauce, I was disappointed because both sauces were bland. The red sauce had a bit of heat but so miniscule. Compared to other places I've eaten, this bowl meal was hefty and filled to the brim with meat, rice and beans. I added some guacamole. Definitely value for money on the meal and you'll be full if you can finish the meal.
To call this place "ratchet" would be an insult to the adjective. Within the first thirty seconds, the following occurred...
* noticed several bags of trash thrown outside the front door
* pulled the handle off the front door
* witnessed a five gallon bucket of something, set atop the salsa barAfter fervent prayers, we ordered and dug in.
The chicken tacos were good, the beef were a little weird (super greasy, crispified meat with some strange fat/gristle)
We won't return... buh bye
Thank you for having the bathrooms available to the public! Thank you for having the cleanest lobby any Filiberto's I've ever been in. Edray , if I spelled that wrong im sorry but he was fantastic and thank you again!
