D&Y Chinese is located on the northeast parking lot behind the Burger King on 67th Ave and Peoria. The business interior looks large and empty with only one man inside the lobby, but granted, this was close to closing on a Tuesday night.
Looking through the pink paper menu, I was RELIEVED I could afford nearly everything. At a median price of $10.75 with rice included, they took and finished my order fast in about 5-8 minutes, and really made sure to stuff as much food as they can! (the photos don't do it justice)
D&Y Chinese also takes delivery, however they are not on DoorDash so you do have to call them by phone. You know, how delivery used to be?
As a family small business lover, worker, and trying to stick within a student budget, it was nice finding this nearby instead of heading out to a big mainstream Chinese restaurant in the P83 area (it starts with "P.F.").

What I love here is the waiters are very friendly and nice, despite how many customers they have to serve. The restaurant is big but they did not have enough staffs so it took a little while to get food on the table. It was raining hard when we dined in and for some reason our table had water dripping down from the roof. As I said, because there was not enough staffs so they can't clean table fast enough, making the environment unpleasant. I believe the vent was not working properly as well since I smelled like Korean BBQ when we walked out of the restaurant. I can still smell it on my clothes days later too Lol
Not the worst Chinese food I've ever had, but far from the best. Mediocre, really. The Kung Pao chicken had no zing at all. The pepper steak was okay. Egg rolls were standard. The Crab Rangoons were fine. Fried shrimp okay. All of it was just ... okay.
If you're a Chinese restaurant and Panda Express has more flavor than your food, you need to up your game.
their roast pork is one of the best if not THE BEST I have had in the valley. It has a sweetness to it and not overly salty like other places.
Everything else is pretty good too! They have an anglocized menu and chinese menu. The chinese menu items are superb! Price is reasonable!
