Stopped in Sunday morning to enjoy the weather, coffee, and a cookie. First time at Coyote Oaties. Lots of coffee options, some sandwiches and lots of oatmeal cookie options. Had a medium coffee and a butterscotch pecan oatmeal cookie. All good and home-made. Did not see a tip jar They must have needed the coin change so they either forgot it or round up.
Really great concept with an awesome name. Never have I seen a specialty oatmeal cookie store and I just had to take some back home to CA with me. Everything looked and sounded so good but I was on a mission here. Oatmeal cookies were the only things considered and I have no regrets. Come try them out in downtown Glendale and you will have a new found respect for oatmeal cookies.
Coyotes oaties is located in the heart of downtown Glendale aka Glendale glitters. It's in a historic building and decorated super cute inside. They sell a variety of oatmeal cookies with absolutely no preservatives. In addition, they sell other treats such as thrifty ice cream.
The cookies are so delicious and the service is amazing. We drove out and unfortunately missed close time by minutes, the coyote oaties team members saw us outside and we couldn't believe it, opened up and sold us cookies! Not to mention that we have been craving these bad boys for months! We lucked out, thank you to making a long drive worth it and satisfying our craving!
We ordered the classic chocolate chip (pictured below). We also took advantage of the local raw alfalfa honey they sell and snagged a jar (this honey helps with my seasonal allergies highly recommend to aid with yours).
