Cafe Rumba really is a great choice! The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was made with care. It's hard to find this kind of food in the PNW, and Bellingham is lucky to have this restaurant. Try the Alfajores, they are a rich, sweet, and delicious desserts.
i am so glad i chose to eat here but so sad that i am only visiting bellingham so i wont be able to eat here more often. i will be thinking of this cafe back home, and next time i visit bellingham its on my agenda to eat here.
it was an authentic Peruvian atmosphere with authentic food, great tunes, and a very sweet staff. loved looking at the different wall art and they were playing fútbol on the tv. got all my senses perked hehe. thanks!!!
Great small sandwich shop. Large sandwiches with the flavors of Peru.
I stopped by just before the lunch hour and ordered the Choripollo sandwich. A combination of spicy chorizo and chicken with greens and spicy sauce and shoestring potatoes. The bun is a nice combination of slightly crispy crust and a soft inside. Sides are a salad or the Peruvian staple of boiled potatoes with a mayo-based spicy sauce.
Beer, wine and juices are available as is free water.
What this place lacks in decor and gloss is more than made up for by the great food and friendly staff.

Wow! What a great "sandwich". Yes, it is diminishing calling them sandwiches. They are rather nice entrees in between bread.
The place is small and not necessarily the most welcoming.
