Cabin inspired restaurant and bar with a huge patio and amazing nightlife.
Food (3.5 out of 5); Friend and I split the Cabin Cheeseburger, I am not sure if I was starving but the burger was pretty darn good, cooked to order. Also, we split the Fried Zucchini Spears, fresh and crisp zucchini, and flavorful.
Service (3.5 out of 5); Super busy with limited staff, which you are seeing more and more. Establishments are having a tough time with staffing. Our waitress was friendly and super busy.
Location (4 out of 5); Super cute, huge with indoor and outdoor seating opens with a rustic feel. As busy as they were, the restaurant an bathrooms were kept clean.
Hey! All of you waiting forever at the Hash Kitchen? Do yourself a favor and walk across the parking lot to The Cabin.
The food is great, the service is stellar!
Our server was also the hostess and bartender and she did not miss a beat. The outdoor seating area is lovely. The inside reminded me of an old saloon. Plenty of seating.
Don't wait over there. Go to the Cabin!
Even though it had rained that day, with more on the horizon, we opted to sit in the covered area outside. The temperature was a pleasant 80ish degrees, but humidity made things a bit sticky.
Two issues with sitting around the bar outside, though. It took a while to get served. Once the service started, though, it was very good. Second, most of the people around the bar were chain smoking cigarettes like it was their last drag before the Grim Reaper came to harvest their souls. I'm not used to mixing food and smoke.
The drinks were good, ample, and strong enough. The fish tacos were excellent. Love the generous, fresh avocado slices and rice, which was done to perfection--better than many Asian restaurants, in fact. I gave away most of my avocado slices to my friend because of my food sensitivity, but I did sneak a couple.
A note, though: all the online menus we saw when we were there were outdated. Hopefully, things have changed for the better. The menu was much more limited now than in the past, and there was NO Happy Hour menu, which was the reason we went there in the first place.
Overall, it was a cool place. Good atmosphere, good service (once we actually got it), and good food.
