I really enjoyed this place. My friends and I attended a MLK Social Mixer hosted by GPUL and it was a great time! The dj was great, I loved the music he played, and the atmosphere was just chill and good vibes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! But, I will tell you, the purple drink in this pic, is a no-go. I don't remember the name of the drink, I just know it was a martini and one of the ingredients is elderberry. It was so bitter and tasted like NyQuil, I couldn't bear to drink it. I thought it was awful ! If you're like me, someone that enjoys fruity, sweet drinks, you'll mostly likely hate this drink lol So, if you see the martini with elderberry in it on the menu, STAY AWAY. I didn't even finish the drink! What you see in the pic is how I left it... My friends felt bad, so they bought me some green tea shots to try to make up for it. Now let me tell you, those were amazeballs!!! I HIGHLY recommend the green tea shots! But, you gotta be careful with it those, 'cause they taste so good you'll just keep drinking and drinking and before you know it, they done creeped up on you and now you're drunk lol (speaking from personal experience ). Overall, I really enjoyed this place! My friend's and I had a fun time, the music was great, and I look forward to going back, even if there's no specific event going on.
Just found my new spot! Loved everything about Butler's Easy! The vibe is very welcoming and chic. This spot is the best of both worlds. Stop in for happy hour or make it a date night with live music and cigars. The bartenders were very nice and accommodating. You can come alone and almost guarantee to find someone to play connect four with or just chat on the patio with some light bites. I definitely see myself being a regular here!
My boyfriend and I wandered in here our second night in Phoenix and Seth was more than accommodating. We shared a pepperoni grilled cheese (YUM) and tried a few different drinks. I'd absolutely recommend going and also checking out their featured art by local artists along with live music occasionally. We will most definitely be returning.
