This is our Phoenix-adjacent property, and boy, do residents and visitors absolutely love us. Being in such a central location brings us a lot of business, but we always have room for more, and our team is the fastest and friendliest in the entire Glendale area. We won’t make you wait long for your scrumptious meal, and we promise to bring it with a smile… and maybe even a skip in our step.
First time at this diner. Had nothing but a wonderful time. It's a fun friendly and outdoorsy environment. Staff was fun and friendly food was absolutely amazing and very large portions. I have a chicken fried steak mashed potatoes green beans with bacon Sasquatch edition. Fun names for food. Just overall a wonderful and healthy environment.
PSS, the banana pie is amazing!!
First time here and what a find! We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We had to wait about 10-15 mins, but we're then seated. The menu is pretty big and I was hungry.
I ordered a chicken fried steak and my wife, the Veggie Omelette. The portions are huge and they have different sauces: papa Bear, Mama Bear and baby bear. All were tasty.
We'll definitely be back!
Our first time here....always look for a restaurant unlike what we have at home when traveling. On a whim I selected Black Bear. Glad I did. Our meals were fantastic. The stuffed french toast is to die for, and the pancakes are wonderful. The waitress was extremely kind and did a wonderful job. Sure wish I could remember her name??
The only downside is that we thought it was just a tad pricey for breakfast. Our bill was $40 for two of us. Not saying we would never go back because I'm sure we would if in the area again knowing that it was great food, but it is a bit pricier than other places.
