About

Best China’s menu includes a variety of courses gathered from Chinese Four Cardinal directions: Dong, Xi, Nan, & Bei. Every dish has its own special seasoning from different provinces which gives the food an exceptional taste. For example, Mongolian Chicken is cooked in a define pan that brings out the Mongolian barbecue taste. Hunan Beef is from the province of Shaolin, the state of the Monks. Dining at Best China is the same as visiting the entire country of China.

Best China was originally a part of the chain, Good China. However, the main and “best” chief of the chain can only be located at one location; therefore, he acknowledged it would be best to create his own family restaurant. At last, he created Best China. The chief believes that “the only way to make it best is to make good better.” In that case, we call the restaurant Best China to remind us our commitment to have our food unique and delicious with quality. With all of the above facts, we promise our guests an unforgettable dining experience every time you visit us.

I do not recommend this restaurant because the cashier during the payment process demands a set tip percentage (15%, 18%, 20%) due to their payment system when paying with a debt/credit card. This diminishes their food and dine in service.

Chinese food in the west valley is very rare. I am very picky (maybe even spoiled!) when it comes to the best-tasting Chinese food any restaurant has to offer. By far, Best China stands by their name. We have been frequenting this establishment for more than 8 years now. Their dishes have been on point every single time. Their service is quick and their prices are fairly reasonable, especially since they are family portions. Their vegetable dishes always taste fresh, and I feel like I'm eating healthy. If you are looking for some real good Chinese food, Best China is the place to visit! You won't regret it!

It's hard to read so many negative reviews because I think this little restaurant is a gem in the desert.

If you're missing east coast Chinese food or more specifically the Chinese of Flushing, Queens, this has some dishes to satisfy your palate. If you are used to fried glop with too much sweet sauce, go elsewhere.

The staff can be a little shy yet they are efficient and quick, and now that I visit every few weeks, they seem happy to see me. I'm not an easy customer: I use a wheelchair and I have allergies, so I'm always asking to leave things out like green peppers and water chestnuts, and add more celery and snow peas.

It's never a problem for them.

Almost everything I've tried has been top notch, especially the spicy dishes like General Tso and garlic shrimp. Spring rolls are always crispy and full of savory vegetables.

The one dish I didn't care for was a mix of shrimp, pork and chicken with veggies in brown sauce, but that was my own fault because I didn't look for the pepper on the menu. I don't even like brown sauce.

The dining room is clean if a little bit worn, and customers often speak pleasantly to each other, comparing notes and suggesting dishes for next time.

Prices are reasonable and as others have mentioned, portions are generous. I often have plenty to take home and it's quite tasty cold.

I'm happy to have them here because flying back to NY for Chinese food is just too time consuming and expensive.

Man these reviews had me questioning my reality. Me and my grandma have been coming here for upwards of 10 years (when they were called Good China) and the staff has always been sweet as can be.
I dined here yesterday for the first time since before COVID and nothing has changed! Super friendly staff who sat our party of 7 no problem. The lunch special is held EVERYDAY until 3 which is amazing because it's such a great deal and of course the Orange chicken is to die for.
This place will always be my #1 spot for Chinese in AZ.
